Every striker in the Mayor's Cup now has one more reason to look up at the scoreboard. Payless Phones Center, the Mukono shop on Nabuti Road, has joined the 2026 tournament as a sponsor and will reward the stars of the season with smartphones: one for the Top Scorer and one for the player with the Top Assist.
Stay Connected, Live Better.
A prize you can hold, call with and show off
Goals and assists are what fans remember from a Friday afternoon at the grounds. The striker who finishes the move and the playmaker who sets it up are both part of the same story, and Payless Phones Center has chosen to reward both. Behind every winner will be a phone in the hand, ready for calls, messages, photos of the trophy moment and the first video of the celebration.
- Top Scorer. A smartphone for the player with the most goals in the Mayor's Cup 2026.
- Top Assist. A smartphone for the player who creates the most goals for others.
Meet Payless Phones Center
The name says it: pay less. Payless Phones Center is a one-stop phone shop on Nabuti Road, Mukono, built around a simple promise, which is genuine products at prices that ordinary families, students and young workers can afford. Its slogan, "Stay Connected, Live Better", sums up why a good phone matters today: it is how people work, learn, trade, bank and stay close to those they love.
Everything your phone needs under one roof
- Phones and accessories. Smartphones for every need, with the covers, screen protectors and extras to go with them.
- Headsets and earphones. Over-ear headsets and wireless earbuds for music, calls and match-day commentary.
- SIM cards and airtime. Get connected and stay topped up in one stop.
- Phone repairs. Cracked screen or a phone that will not behave? The repair desk is there to help.
- Power banks and chargers. Keep going all day, long after the final whistle.
Genuine products, honest prices
Payless Phones Center stands for authentic products at very affordable prices. In a market where buyers worry about fakes and inflated prices, a shop that puts genuine quality and fair pricing first earns trust, and that trust is the same thing the Mayor's Cup is built on: fair play, honest competition and respect. Buyers are encouraged to visit the shop, see the products, ask questions and compare for themselves.
Thank you, Payless
The Organising Committee thanks Payless Phones Center for putting a real prize on the table for the players who light up the season. Local business backing local sport is exactly what the Mayor's Cup is about, and fans are encouraged to return the favour by supporting those who support the game.
